Curriculum


Panineeya Mahavidyalaya having the classes from LKG to 10th std on lines of Kendriya Vidyalaya with an affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Performance of our students in the examinations conducted by CBSE has been excellent. At Panineeya Mahavidyalaya, a flexible learning programme for the children of different age groups has been evolved, after extensive research and comparative analysis in the available curriculum, across the globe in collaboration with the eminent academicians in the country and abroad. The aim is to provide young learners an opportunity to develop self-confidence and life skills needed to survive the global competition. We recognize that each child is unique and therefore our learning programme involves them in cross-curricular learning that is relevant, challenging and absorbing. It focuses on the complete mental, intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth of the child. The most important concept of the programme is that students learn through their innate curiosity, which is further cultivated and encouraged by the school. Opportunities for continuous evaluation are in-built into the curriculum. Our emphasis is on making learning a joyful, self-motivated experience wherein each child's curiosity and creativity is nurtured. Categorizing the classes into houses (house system) The classes are divided into 4 houses Shivaji, Netaji, Azad, Tilak Regular inter house competitions are held To develop team spirit leader ship qualities, competency, adaptability discipline among the peer group. Literary activities: Essay writing, elocution, debates, quizzes. Story writing, science fairs, Cultural and other activities Art and Craft, Flower arrangement, Music, Vegetable carvings, Clay moulding, Painting, Rangoli, best out of Waste, Food festivals, Eco club, Gardening and Yoga. Sports and games: Running, cricket, kabadi, tennis, etc. Karate: students are being trained in martial arts under the guidance of professional’ coaches. Interschool competitions: science Olympiad, math Olympiad, cultural competitions are held between schools. Workshops conducted by eminent people, science fairs, painting competitions. Celebrations educational tours and field trips: School celebrates festivals and national festivals with full zeal to inculcate democratic and secular values in students. Picnics and field trips are arranged for all the classes high school students are taken on education tours.
